Astrology as a Spiritual Path - Review
If you had read my previous post on Tarot, you’ll know that it was actually a Humble Bundle that got me hooked on esoterica.
While my initial intention was to delve deeper into astrology so that I could read my birth chart, a chance encounter with a book on Tarot shifted my focus entirely.
Over the years, I’ve read many astrology books, and even subscribed to LUNA®, a really cool app (highly recommended!) hoping technology might come to the rescue, all to no avail.
LUNA® did, however, introduce me to the book Astrology as a Spiritual Path.
I had hoped it might teach me the basics of interpreting my birth chart, but instead, it introduced an alternative path, granting a whole new perspective on astrology.
The book is so well written that once you pick it up, you won’t want to stop reading, with chapters that are the perfect length to consume during daily tasks without losing context.
There are a few references to birth charts scattered throughout the book, so it would have helped if I had a better understanding of how to read the charts (I’ll get there), but even without that knowledge, I had no trouble grasping the concepts.
It’s been a few weeks now since I finished the book and although I’m still processing the content, I now see astrology (and life) from a completely different perspective, one that I struggle to put into words if I’m honest.
By reading the book, you are invited to transcend the present moment and connect with something larger, an experience that will undoubtedly vary for each reader.
If you’re like me and want to expand your knowledge of astrology, or simply gain a new perspective on our place in the cosmos, I highly recommend you pick up a copy of this book. I’m really glad I did!
