I couldn’t put the guitar down after working on my latest track, so I thought I’d experiment with using it to create a track that radiates an upbeat summer mood. You know, that feeling of going on holiday and heading to the beach with the sun shining on your face.

I drew inspiration from the Rider-Waite Tarot card “19 - The Sun” to create the track. That card radiates pure joy and happiness and is often a predictor of good things to come. It’s also the card I pulled prior to picking up the guitar that morning.

After working on dark ambient tracks for so long, it’s tough to shake that darker vibe, but this one brings a glimmer of hope, which is something I think the world needs right now.

Close your eyes and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin as you unite with the cosmos. Let the joy of the Summer Solstice fill your heart, painting your lips with an ever-radiant smile.
